Volkersdorf , until 1971 the seat of the independent municipality of the same name, is a parish village and part of the municipality of Jetzendorf in the Upper Bavarian district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm .

history

There was certainly a church in Volkersdorf before 1400. From 1345 to 1848, Volkersdorf was associated with the Jetzendorf Hofmark . Since 1818, Volkersdorf has been the seat of a rural community with the Bavarian municipal edict . On January 1, 1971, the previously independent community was incorporated into Jetzendorf.
