On June 15, 2009, a merger was approved by 97.02% at the meeting of representatives, which will take place retrospectively as of January 1. The technical changeover took place at the beginning of November 2009.


With 42 branches, Volksbank Wetzlar-Weilburg eG achieved a largely complete area coverage in the city of Wetzlar and its western and southern environs, as well as in a large part of the former Oberlahnkreis in the Limburg-Weilburg district .
