Volleyball Champions League 2008/09 (women)

The 2008/09 season of the Volleyball Champions League began on November 4, 2008 with the group stage and ended with the final on March 29, 2009 in Perugia . 20 teams from twelve nations took part in the competition. Volley Bergamo from Italy won the final against Russian representatives VK Dynamo Moscow .

mode

In the group stage there were five groups with four teams each. Each team competed at home and away against each of the three opponents. The two best teams in each group and the two best thirds in the group qualified for the playoffs. There, three participants were determined in two rounds, each with a return game, who played the Final Four together with the seeded Perugia .
