The one from Buchein
Von Buchein (* in the 13th century) was a minstrel . In the Manessische Liederhandschrift, four songs and three single- verse proverbs have come down to us. The equation of the minstrel with the ministerial Albrecht Pilgrim von Buochein from beeches in the Odenwald , documented around 1251–1282, is controversial. The lament about the premature death of a Count von Calw in his saying Swa biderbe herrren dying helps to date the work of Bucheins , because the last Calwer, Count Gottfried V, died before 1262. An origin of the Minnelieder from the Freiburg area is evident Franz Josef Worstbrock doubted.
A closer examination of the songs reveals that two of them have the same content in many passages as those of the minstrel Von Trostberg, who is also represented in the Manessian song manuscript . It is unclear to which of the two poets these songs can be attributed. Another song is also preserved in the Manessian manuscript under the name of Mr. Heinrich von der Mure (Heinrich von Mure, 1223–1263 attested), and for stylistic reasons it is more likely to be attributed to this. In form and content, the songs of the Bucheiner are based on the work of Gottfried von Neifen .
The miniature in Codex Manesse shows the book facing a lady, to whom he hands a cup as a sign of love. The smaller musician sitting between the pair and holding a psaltery identifies the poet as a minstrel. The talking coat of arms bears the inscription MINNE SINNE TWINGET / STRALE QWALE BRINGET .
