Von Dutch is a US fashion brand that has been operating worldwide since 1999 and was co-designed by the French Christian Audigier . However, he retired from business in 2004 to promote his own Ed Hardy brand . The CEO is the Danish actor Tonny Sorensen . The name is derived from the nickname of the mechanic Kenneth Howard .
The label has baseball caps and often t-shirts and pants on offer. The brand received a lot of media coverage from prominent wearers such as Madonna , Mike Tyson and Bill Clinton . This is primarily oriented towards the North American market for bikers .
In 2009 Von Dutch also wanted to bring underwear, jewelry and socks onto the market. Previously, in 2005, an energy drink that was produced under license had not been able to successfully establish itself on the market. Third-party watches are also produced under the name.
