v. Rundstedt & Partner is a provider of outplacement and career advice . The group of companies under the umbrella of the v. Rundstedt & Partner GmbH, based in Düsseldorf, is divided into various subsidiaries in Germany , Austria and Switzerland .
history
The V. Rundstedt & Partner GmbH, headquartered in Düsseldorf , was founded on December 11, 1985 by Eberhard von Rundstedt. The company currently has 15 locations in Germany . The Austrian subsidiary of Rundstedt HR Partner GesmbH operates a branch in Vienna , the Swiss subsidiary of Rundstedt & Partner Schweiz AG has seven locations. The Boardroom is its own brand , it stands for career advice for top managers. The focus is on outplacement and career advice, both for individual separations and in the context of larger restructuring projects. It was founded at a time when outplacement was still largely unknown in Germany. The consulting firm grew with increasing importance and in 1991 opened branches in Frankfurt , Hamburg and Munich . Later in the 1990s, additional locations were added in Germany, Austria and Switzerland . Sophia von Rundstedt, daughter of the company founder, has been managing director since 2011. In response to the increasing demand for online offers and the desire for flexibility, the company has invested in the further development of virtual outplacement consulting in recent years.

v. Rundstedt employs around 390 people in Germany and is a member of the Career Star Group and EXS Executive Search networks . Annual sales in Germany and Switzerland in 2016 amounted to 27.5 million euros, according to company information.

Awards and grants
Since 2007, von Rundstedt has been awarding an art sponsorship prize worth 10,000 euros. This is awarded to students at the Düsseldorf Art Academy every two years .
Since 2016, von Rundstedt has been honoring outstanding theses from the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf on a human resources topic every year . Von Rundstedt promotes particularly talented young academics with the 1,500 euro exam prize.
