Vonn Christian Bell (* 12. December 1994 in Chattanooga , Tennessee ) is an American American football poker players in the National Football League (NFL). He plays for the Cincinnati Bengals as safety . Before that, he was already under contract with the New Orleans Saints .

college

Bell attended Ohio State University and played college football for their team, the Buckeyes , with great success , setting a total of 175 tackles , scoring a sack and preventing 15 passes between 2012 and 2015 . He also got 9 interceptions .

NFL

New Orleans Saints

Bell was selected as the number 61st draft pick by the New Orleans Saints in the 2016 NFL Draft . In order to draft it, an exchange with the New England Patriots was necessary. In return, they received a third and a fourth round pick . In his rookie season he was used in all games, 14 times as a starter .
In the following seasons he developed into a determining player personality in the defensive backfield of his team and was on average for 73 to 85% of all moves on the field. He was also used regularly in the special teams .

Cincinnati Bengals

At the end of March 2020, he signed a three-year deal worth $ 18 million with the Cincinnati Bengals .
