College Football Playoff National Championship Game
The College Football Playoff National Championship Game is an annual college football postseason game that has been played since 2014 , in which the national title holder of NCAA Division I is played. The game serves as the final game of the College Football Playoffs , in which the four best teams in the United States participate. This game mode replaced the Bowl Championship Series and the BCS National Championship Game , with which the college football champions were determined from 1998 to 2013. Now the four teams are determined by a committee, which play out the finalists in two semi-finals. The final will be held in a neutral stadium, which will be selected from a group of applicants.
