The Vran Planina ( vran = raven) is a mountain range in Bosnia and Herzegovina , in the Herzegovina-Neretva canton .

It is located in a rectangle between Tomislavgrad , Prozor-Rama , Jablanica and Posušje . The Vran belongs to the Dinaric Mountains , over which the border between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina runs. Its name was derived from its dark and black appearance. The highest peaks are Veliki Vran ( 2074  m ) and Mali Vran ( 2017  m ).

In a plateau south of the Vran there is the largest mountain lake in Bosnia, the Blidinjsko jezero , in the north, however, the Ramsko jezero , one of the largest reservoirs in the country.
