Leizhou Peninsula ( Leizhou Bandao ) off Hainan

The volcanoes of the Leizhou Peninsula are located on or next to the Leizhou Peninsula ( Chinese  雷州 半岛 , Pinyin Léizhōu Bàndǎo ) and neighboring islands in the southwestern part of the Chinese province of Guangdong in southern China . There are 76 volcanoes on the peninsula , most of which are extinct. In the south behind the 30 km wide Hainan Road ( Qiongzhou Haixia ) on the island province of Hainan , the zone is continued by the volcanoes of Qiongshan , such as the Ma'anling volcano .
