Vykintas Slivka (born April 29, 1995 in Panevėžys ) is a Lithuanian football player .

Career

Vykintas Slivka began his career in his hometown with Ekranas Panevėžys . Until 2013, the midfielder played in the club's youth. In the summer of 2013, the talent moved to Italy for Juventus Turin . In his first year Slivka played for the Juve youth team in the Campionato Primavera . On March 16, 2014, the 28th matchday of the 2013/14 season , the Lithuanian was in the old lady's squad for the first time against CFC Genoa . Until the end of the season he did not appear again in the squad of Massimiliano Allegri . In the same year he was awarded to the Italian second division club FC Modena , for which, however, he did not complete a competitive game. From February to May 2015 he played on another loan in Slovenia for ND Gorica . Here he made his professional debut under coach Miran Srebrnič in the game against NK Maribor . In his eighth league game in the Nogometna Liga he scored the first professional goal of his career against NK Krka . In September 2015, Slivka was awarded to the Dutch second division club FC Den Bosch for the entire 2015/16 season and the first half of 2017 . For the club from 's-Hertogenbosch he scored twice in 40 games in the opposing goal. This was followed by a loan to Ascoli Picchio FC 1898 . In July 2017 he moved from Juventus Turin to Hibernian Edinburgh in Scotland.

National team

Vykintas Slivkas has been playing for Lithuania since 2011. He started his career in the national team of Lithuania in the U-17 . He made his senior national team debut against Hungary in 2015 when he was substituted on for Gratas Sirgėdas via the U-19 and U-21 .
