Vytautas Mikalauskas (director)

Vytautas Mikalauskas (born October 7, 1955 in Mažeikiai ) is a Lithuanian director and politician.

Life

After graduating from high school from 1968 to 1973, he studied at the Lietuvos valstybinė konservatorija from 1973 to 1975 and served in the Soviet Army from 1975 to 1977. From 1991 to 1994 he studied directing at the Klaipėda Faculty of Lietuvos muzikos akademija . From 1977 to 1979 he worked at Mažeikių naftos perdirbimo gamykla as a plumbing technician , from 1984 to 1986 as the director of the cultural center in Trakai , from 1989 to 1996 as a director for mass events, from 1991 he was director of the Trakai Theater. From 1995 to 1996 he was deputy mayor, from 1996 to 2001 mayor of the Trakai district .

Since 1993 he has been a member of the Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija .
