Wálter Guevara Arze
Wálter Guevara Arze (born March 11, 1912 in Ayopaya , Cochabamba , † June 20, 1996 in La Paz ) was a Bolivian lawyer and politician.
Life
In 1941 he co-founded the Movimiento Nacionalista Revolucionario (MNR) and was a member of parliament and senator several times in the following years. He was ambassador to France, Venezuela and the United Nations and served as minister in various departments, including minister of the interior. From August 8, 1979 to November 1, 1979 he was President of Bolivia.
Guevara Arze published a short story as part of a literary competition.
