Wálter Pelletti , full name Wálter Luis Pelletti Vezzoso , (born May 31, 1966 in Fray Bentos ) is a former Uruguayan football player .

Career

societies

The 1.72-meter-tall offensive player Pelletti belonged to El Tanque Sisley's team at the beginning of his career in 1985 . In 1986 the Chilean association CD Antofagasta was his employer. From 1987 to mid-1989 he played for the Montevideo Wanderers . He then moved to Spain to CD Castellón . In the seasons 1989/90 and 1990/91 he played 55 league games in the Primera División and scored two goals. In July 1991 he joined the Club Atlético Huracán . For the Argentinians, he subsequently scored 21 goals in 136 league appearances. In July 1996, CA Banfield signed him . At the club from Banfield , he was used in 38 league games and scored five goals. In the second half of 1997 he was then active for the Argentinos Juniors . He completed eight league matches (no goal). From 1998 to mid-2001 he was again in the ranks of the Montevideo Wanderers. The last career station will be the ASM Oran from Algeria until mid-2002 , where he was used once (no goal) in the league.

National team

Pelletti, who is led by the RSSSF in the name spelling Peletti, was part of the Uruguayan squad at the Copa América 1987 , which won the continental title. However, he only made his debut on April 30, 1992 in the 1-0 win in the friendly international match against Brazil in the Uruguayan senior team , when he was ordered by national coach Luis Cubilla in the starting line-up. He also took part in the Copa América 1993 with Uruguay and was used three times during the tournament. In total, he completed eight international matches in which he failed to score personally. His last international match in the "Celeste" dated June 26, 1993 in the quarter-finals of the aforementioned continental tournament against Colombia, which he lost 3: 5 on penalties (1: 1).
