The Waschbach is a brook in the Rheinhessen Wonnegau . It rises in the west of Ober-Flörsheim and initially flows through this place to the east. After 1.32 km of flowing stretch and 4.08 km² of drained catchment area, it takes up the 1.34 km long and with 10.08 km² a significantly larger catchment area draining stream from Heiligkreuzberg from the right and south . After a total of 3.21 km and 17.07 km² EZG it flows immediately west of Gundersheim with the Böllenbach coming from the left and north to the Altbach , which is classified in the water station as a section of the Seebach , but only after another five kilometers in an easterly direction, in Westhofen , into which the actual Seebach flows, only 700 m long, but through an artesian spring , with water.

The Altbach flows through Gundersheim, under the Autobahn 61 into a (marshy) rainwater retention basin. Only a little water still flows from the rainwater retention basin towards Westhofen. Here the stream flows along the old town center past several old mills before it finally flows into the Seebach east of the old town center of Westhofen.
