The Wörther Kreuz is a plan-free crossing structure in Wörth am Rhein , which connects the federal  highways 9 and 10 as well as the state road 540. The federal motorway 65 ends immediately to the west of the Wörther Kreuz junction, to the east of the intersection of the motorway-like federal highways, the B 10 turns into the southern bypass after crossing the Rhine .

The A 65 / B 10 between the Kandel -Süd and Maximiliansau junction and the connection to the B 9 were completed in 1980. To the east of the Wörther Kreuz a 676 meter long groundwater basin was built for 22.3 million DM. The southern branch towards Hagenbach (now L 540, then B 9) was opened to traffic in 1989. It serves as a bypass for Maximiliansau.
