Seasoning mix

Seasoning mixes, including sprinkling seasonings, are, according to the German Food Book , "solid or liquid products that mainly consist of flavor enhancers , table salt , common sugars or other carriers". These industrial products can also contain seasonings , yeast, vegetables , mushrooms , spices , herbs and extracts from these products. Sprinkle spices refer to spice mixtures that can be sprinkled.

Seasoning mixes and sprinkling seasonings are sold either according to their type, e.g. B. curry seasoning, or designated according to their intended use, z. B. Grill seasoning , seasoning mix for spaghetti. Examples of well-known trademarks are Aromat ( Knorr ), Fondor ( Maggi ), Mirador ( Migros ) or Vegeta .

Creole cuisine is known for its jerk seasoning mixes .
