Władysław Popielarski (born March 6, 1950 in Elbląg , People's Republic of Poland ) is a former Polish handball player . The right winger played for TSV Grün-Weiß Dankersen in the Bundesliga .
Career
Popielarski began playing handball in his hometown at MKS Truso Elbląg . He later moved to Spójnia Gdańsk and in 1981 to the German Bundesliga relegated TSV Grün-Weiß Dankersen. In his first season he was able to celebrate the direct resurgence with the club. For the 1982/83 season Dankersen signed the Dane Carsten Haurum , who occupied the foreigner place. Popielarski could therefore only play in the second team. When Haurum left the team before the end of the season, Popielarski made a few Bundesliga appearances. The following season he was to be assistant coach of Vitomir Arsenijević . However, after he had traveled to Poland, official difficulties prevented a return.
He completed a total of 88 international matches for the Polish national team . In 1972 he took part in the Summer Olympics.
