The steam locomotives “LAXENBURG” and “BADEN” were passenger locomotives of the Vienna – Raaber (Gloggnitzer) Eisenbahn (WRB). They were built by the William Norris locomotive works in Philadelphia in 1839 .

Following the order for the "PHILADELPHIA" , the WRB ordered two more powerful locomotives, as it was apparently not satisfied with the performance of the "PHILADELPHIA".

The “BADEN” came to the Southern State Railway (SStB) in 1853 and was retired in 1858.
