The WTA Pörtschach (officially: Eggers Tennis Festival in Carinthia ) was a women's tennis tournament of the WTA Tour , which was held once in 1999 in Pörtschach am Wörther See in Austria .
It followed Maria Lankowitz's WTA tournament and was the predecessor of the WTA tournament in Klagenfurt .
In 2020, Pörtschach should return to the WTA tournament calendar at short notice. The reason for this was the cancellation of the US Open qualification . For this reason, a $ 125,000 event on clay should be held in Pörtschach instead. A week later, the tournament was canceled again due to a non-compliance with Covid-19 measures.
