Wałdowice [ vau̯dɔˈvit͡sɛ ] ( German  Waldowstrenk ) is a village in Gmina Lubniewice , in the Polish Lubusz Voivodeship . It is located 9 km northwest of Lubniewice (Königswalde) , 16 km north of Sulęcin and 17 km south of Gorzów Wielkopolski .

history

Until September 30, 1928, Waldowstrenk belonged to the Reitzenstein estate , which was eventually dissolved and Waldowstrenk an independent rural community in the Oststernberg district . After the end of the Second World War , the place came to Poland , was incorporated into Lubniewice and renamed in Wałdowice. From 1978 to 1998 Wałdowice belonged to the Gorzów Voivodeship .
