The Gmina Lubniewice is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Sulęciński of the Lubusz Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the city of the same name ( German Königswalde ) with about 2000 inhabitants.
geography
The community is located in Neumark in the middle of the Lubusz Lake District. The waters include the Lubniewsko (2.41 km²), Lubiąż ( Lübbenssee , 1.46 km²) and Krajnik (Crane Lake) (0.39 km²) lakes . The “Janie” moor reserve and the “Uroczysko (lovely) Lubniewsko” area are protected.
The state roads DK22 and DK24 run along the northern border of the municipality. The DK22 leads to Kostrzyn nad Odrą (Küstrin) in the west and to the voivodeship capital Gorzów Wielkopolski (Landsberg an der Warthe) in the north.
