The Gmina Sulęcin [ su'lɛnt͡ɕin ] is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Sulęciński of the Lubusz Voivodeship in Poland . The seat of the Powiat and the municipality is the city ​​of the same name ( German : Zielenzig ) with 10,117 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2019).

geography

The community is located about 35 kilometers south of the city of Gorzów Wielkopolski (Landsberg an der Warthe) in Neumark . The landscape is shaped by the Lubusz Lake District and numerous elevations, the highest of which is the Góra Bukowiec (beech forest height ) at 227 meters. The Postomia (Postumfließ) belongs to the rivers .

The Berlin - Poznan motorway passes five kilometers to the south.
