Wacław Długoborski

Wacław Długoborski (born January 3, 1926 in Warsaw ) is a Polish historian .

Długoborski studied at the University of Wroclaw since 1949 and received his doctorate in 1956 from the University of Warsaw . He taught at the University of Wroclaw, the University of Krakow and was from 1989 to 1996 Professor of Economic and Social History at the Higher School of Economics in Wroclaw and curator of research questions at the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum . He was an Auschwitz prisoner himself ( prisoner number 138871).
