Wacław Skomorucha

Wacław Skomorucha (born February 27, 1915 in Chądzyń , † August 25, 2001 in Siedlce ) was a Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Siedlce .

Life

The Apostolic Administrator of Siedlce, Czesław Sokołowski , ordained him a priest on September 8, 1940 .

John XXIII appointed him on November 21, 1962 auxiliary bishop in Siedlce and titular bishop of Zoara . The Archbishop of Gniezno and Warsaw , Stefan Cardinal Wyszynski , consecrated him bishop on April 21 of the next year ; Co-consecrators were just Ignacy Świrski , Bishop of Siedlce , and Antoni Pawlowski , Bishop of Wloclawek .

As a motto he chose Veritati et caritati . He attended the second and fourth session of the Second Vatican Council . On February 1, 1992, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
