The Wadi Djedi is a regularly drying river, a wadi , in North Africa with a length of about 480 kilometers. It flows only in the north of Algeria along the southern border of the Atlas Mountains .
It rises in the middle of the Sahara Atlas to flow past the city of Laghouat eastwards towards the border with Tunisia . Shortly before it reaches this, it flows into the Schott Melghir (a Schott is a lake that also has an extremely fluctuating water level over the course of the year).
