Vadim Leonidowitsch Yermolajew ( Russian Вадим Леонидович Ермолаев ; born February 14, 1989 in Magnitogorsk , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Arlan Kökschetau in the Kazakh championship since 2014 .

Career

Vadim Yermolajew began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Russian Super League in the 2007/08 season . He scored one goal in eleven games. After Metallurg was included in the newly founded Continental Hockey League for the 2008/09 season , he was in this premiere year in a total of 25 games on the ice, in which he remained pointless. He also played three games for Metallurg in the Champions Hockey League at European level , in which he and his team took second place.

In the 2009/10 season Yermolajew played exclusively for Metallurg's junior team in the MHL junior league , in which he was champion with his team. For the following season , the Russian was committed by the Kazakh club Barys Astana from the Continental Hockey League , but was mainly used for their second team in the Kazakh championship .

He has been under contract with HK Arlan Kökschetau since 2014 .
