Vadim Witaljewitsch Golubzow ( Russian Вадим Витальевич Голубцов ; born January 2, 1988 in Lipetsk , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who was last until December 2011 with Metallurg Novokuznetsk in the Continental Hockey League under contract.

Career

Wadim Golubzow began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth division of the HK Lipetsk , for whose second team he was active in the third-class Pervaya League from 2003 to 2005 . After he had started the 2005/06 season at ZSK WWS Samara in the second-rate Wysschaja Liga , the winger received a contract with HK Lada Tolyatti from the Russian Super League . With Lada he won the IIHF Continental Cup at European level in 2006 . For the 2007/08 season Golubzow signed a contract with Lada's league rivals Amur Khabarovsk , but returned after the season to HK Lada Tolyatti, for which he was active in the newly founded Continental Hockey League in the 2008/09 season . In the course of the relegation of the HK Lada in the second division Golubzow moved within the KHL to Metallurg Novokuznetsk . His contract there was prematurely terminated in December 2011.

International

For Russia , Golubzow took part in the U18 World Junior Championship in 2006 and the U20 World Junior Championship in 2008 .
