action

first act

The singer Ronny Reno is at the end of his heyday in show business . Morally and spiritually taken, he gives a concert on his comeback. At the party, after the concert, a young waitress serves: the singing student Rosanna. She is more than just a fan of Ronny, she adores him as a role model and artist. Ronny's mother promises Rosanna to sponsor her. In the further course of the party, Ronny's partner Lydia (who is only with him for the money) tells that Ronny's finances are at an end. Jeff, Ronny's agent and purpose friend, however, eases his excitement and organizes a meeting between Ronny and Rosanna. The two immediately feel a close bond. The idyll is disturbed when Ronny tips over while drunk. Jeff wants to take advantage of the situation to get close to Rosanna and secretly administer drugs to her. Rosanna has to be picked up with the ambulance, and Jeff can put the blame on him without Ronny's knowledge. Ronny then goes to jail.

Second act

Jeff guarantees Ronny that he can only get him out of jail if he is found to be insane. Lydia and Jeff are allies and betray Ronny without his knowledge. Ronny withdraws into his own terrible world. More and more he notices that there is only one person who can see inside him: Rosanna. He is passionate about composing a song for her. And Rosanna actually recovers through this care.
