Wakey! Wakey! is a band around the American musician and singer-songwriter Michael (Mike) Grubbs. His music is a mix of pop and alternative . Grubbs lives in Brooklyn , New York and is best known for his role as a bartender on the television series One Tree Hill .
The band consists of three permanent members: Michael Grubbs ( vocals / piano ), Tanya Buziak ( background vocals ) and Anne Lieberwirth ( bass ). The line-up of the other instruments varies depending on the performance.
Wakey! Wakey made it to the 21 KW 2010 No. 1 on the Billboard SoundScan Heatseeker charts.
2011 was Wakey! Wakey! Support act for James Blunt's European tour .
