Waldemar Baeger
Waldemar Baeger (born March 12, 1920 in Treysa ; † November 10, 1995 in Neustrelitz ) was a German actor and cabaret artist .
Life
After completing his acting training, he made his stage debut at the Dresden State Theater in 1951. Further stations of his activity were the natural theater Felsenbühne Rathen , the Theater Nordhausen and the Meininger Theater , before he was part of the ensemble of the Friedrich-Wolf-Theater in Neustrelitz from 1967 . Baeger temporarily took over the management of the ensemble and from 1975 to 1985 director of the district cabinet for cultural work.
Since the 1950s he has worked in a number of DFF television productions at the side of his wife, the singer and actress Greta Baeger . Furthermore, Baeger founded the cabaret “ Die Herkuleskeule ” in 1961 with several colleagues .
