Kadré Désiré Ouédraogo

Kadré Désiré Ouédraogo (* 1953 ) is a politician from Burkina Faso . During his time as a politician he was a member of the then ruling Congress Party for Democracy and Progress (CDP) .

From February 6, 1996 to November 7, 2000, Ouédraogo held the post of Prime Minister of Burkina Faso. He then switched to the diplomatic service and was his country's ambassador to Belgium and Great Britain . He has been President of the ECOWAS Commission since 2012 .
