Waldemar Hoffheinz

Waldemar Hoffheinz (born December 11, 1823 in Gumbinnen ; † August 31, 1897 ) was a German pastor in East Prussia.

Life

Hoffheinz studied Protestant theology at the Albertus University in Königsberg . Since 1847 a member of the Corps Littuania , in 1848 he stayed with the momentous split of the Corps Silber-Litthauer . After graduating from theology, he came to Pillupönen , the far east of Prussia, as a precentor in 1852 . After two years he was transferred to the Aulowönen Church as Precentor . Ordained as a pastor , he was sent by the leadership of the Ecclesiastical Province of East Prussia to the Church of Inse in 1857 and to the Church of Werden on November 16, 1862 . In 1874 he took over the responsibility as superintendent in Werden . In April 1876 he came to the country church in Tilsit as a pastor . There he also became superintendent for the capital of Prussian Lithuania .
