Waldemar Laury
Waldemar Laury (born February 1, 1862 in Berlin , † November 8, 1916 in Mainz ) was a German railway official and president of the Mainz Railway Directorate .
Life
Before he took up his post in Mainz, he held positions in the Berlin Railway Directorate (see above: 1908) and in the Prussian Ministry for Public Works , the Prussian Railway Ministry. From September 1908 he was President of the Royal Prussian and Grand Ducal Hessian Railway Directorate in Mainz. Here he died after a long illness from the consequences of severe pneumonia in office. The funeral and burial took place at the Südfriedhof in Wiesbaden .
