Waldemar pose

Waldemar Pose (born September 23, 1920 in Erfurt , † August 12, 1994 in Berlin ) was a German trade union official ( FDGB ). He was editor-in-chief of the central organ of the FDGB, tribune .

Life

Pose, the son of a working-class family, completed a commercial apprenticeship from 1935 to 1938 . In 1938/39 he worked as a commercial clerk. In 1939 he became the Wehrmacht confiscated and performed as a member of the Air Force military service . In 1944 he was taken prisoner by the Soviets . He was a student at an Antifa school and did not return to his hometown until 1948.

In 1948 Pose joined the SED and the FDGB. In 1948/49 he was employed by the consumer association in Erfurt. In 1949/50 he worked as the press secretary of the Thuringia regional board , then the central board of the administration, banking and insurance union (VBV). 1950/51 he studied at the party college "Karl Marx" . Then he was initially editor until 1952 , then from 1953 to July 1975 - as successor to Günter Erxleben - editor-in-chief of the tribune .

From June 1955 (4th FDGB Congress) to April 1982 (10th FDGB Congress) Pose was a member of the FDGB Federal Executive Board. From June 20, 1955 to July 4, 1975 (11th meeting of the FDGB Federal Executive), he was also a member of the Presidium of the Federal Executive of the FDGB.
