Waldemar Rienäcker

Waldemar Rienäcker (born March 24, 1895 in Stiege (Harz) , † after 1968 ) was a German entrepreneur and military economic leader in the National Socialist German Reich .

Life

Before 1945

Rienäcker had the academic degree of a graduate engineer and had been active in the German energy industry since 1922 . In 1925 he was a member of the Association of German Electrical Engineers.

In the time of National Socialism he got into leading positions. In 1935 he was appointed to the board of the Elektrizitätswerk Schlesien AG in Breslau , where he took over the chairmanship and management in 1939. During the Second World War, he also headed Energieversorgung Oberschlesien AG in Katowice and took on functions in the NSDAP . In 1941 he held the post of Gauamtsleiter of the Office for Technology in the Gau Lower Silesia (Schlesische Elektrizitäts- und Gas AG, in Gliwice ). In addition, he was a member of the NSBDT ( National Socialist Federation of German Technology ), the department for technical sciences in the Lower Silesia region and the admission office for securities at the Silesian Stock Exchange in Wroclaw. The high point of his professional career was undoubtedly his appointment as military economic leader . His other functions included that of the advisory board of the Reichsgruppe Energiewirtschaft and the Wirtschaftsgruppe Elektrizitätsversorgung in Berlin . Rienäcker headed the Silesian District Group of the Electricity Supply Economic Group in Wroclaw.

After 1945

Rienäcker was able to maintain his professional position in the Federal Republic. He was chairman of the supervisory board of Rheingau-Elektrizitätswerk AG in Eltville am Rhein , he was also a member of various supervisory boards and was an advisory board member of Dresdner Bank in Hessen . The most significant position that Rienäcker achieved was that of the board member of Elektrizitäts-AG, formerly W. Lahmeyer & Co. in Frankfurt am Main.

From 1959 to 1968 Rienäcker was a member of the Frankfurt Society for Trade, Industry and Science - Casino Society from 1802.
