The Waldgraben is an approximately 0.6 km long right tributary of the Sauer in the southern Palatinate .

The forest ditch rises at a height of 272 m above sea level. NN in the western Wasgau in a wooded area on the northeast slope of the Nestelberg . It first flows in its forest valley towards the northeast, then bends almost at right angles to the southeast at the entrance to the valley floor of the upper Sauer valley and the Königsbruch nature reserve and finally flows out at an altitude of 214 m above sea level. NN southeast of Fischbach near Dahn in the Königsbruchgraben , a right branch of the Sauer, still called Saarbach here .
