The Waldsiepen is a 4.81 km long orographic left tributary of the Lenne in the North Rhine-Westphalian Hochsauerlandkreis , Germany .

geography

The stream rises on the northern flank of the Albrechtsberg (770.8 m), which belongs to the main ridge of the Rothaar Mountains, at an altitude of 735  m above sea level. NHN . It flows primarily in north-westerly directions and takes on numerous short tributaries. As the longest tributary, the Great Bellmecke with a length of 1.64 km flows into Vorwald . In Oberkirchen the Waldsiepen flows at 432  m above sea level. NHN on the left into the Lenne.

On its 4.81 km long path, the stream overcomes a height difference of 303 m, which corresponds to a mean bed gradient of 63.0 ‰. it drains a 6.508 km² catchment area via the Lenne, Ruhr and Rhine to the North Sea .
