The Waldulmer Winzergenossenschaft eG , is a DLG recommended wine cooperative in the area Ortenauer wine of the wine region Baden . It is based in the Waldulm district of the municipality of Kappelrodeck in the Achertal , a valley in the Ortenau district in the central Black Forest and is located about 20 km northeast of Offenburg .

history

The Waldulm winegrowers' cooperative was founded on November 25, 1928. It originally consisted of the parish vineyards and a few member winemakers. The cooperative now has over 200 winegrowers.

Viticulture

The cooperatively organized winemakers cultivate almost 140 hectares of vineyards, mainly in the Pfarrberg and Kreuzberg locations.

Grape varieties

With 82% share of the grape variety list, the Pinot Noir is the flagship of the wine cooperative. The remaining 18% are shared by the white wine varieties Pinot Gris , Pinot Blanc , Müller-Thurgau and Riesling .
