Valery Arkadyevich Dudin ( Russian Валерий Аркадьевич Дудин ; born August 20, 1963 in Kirow , Kirov Oblast ) is a former luge athlete who competed for the Soviet Union.

Dudin's most successful year in tobogganing was 1984. By winning the national championship title, he qualified for the Winter Olympics in Sarajevo . There he surprisingly won the bronze medal in the single seater. This is his only placement in the top three at an international event. In 1988 he took part in the Olympic Winter Games for the second time and came in 17th.

After the end of his playing career, Dudin worked as a coach in Bratsk , Irkutsk Oblast .
