Walter Büchtemann

Walter Büchtemann (born December 27, 1838 in Groß-Oschersleben , † July 28, 1886 in Friedrichroda ) was a railway director and member of the Reichstag of the German Empire .

Life

Büchtemann studied law in Heidelberg . There he became a member of the Corps Vandalia Heidelberg in 1858 . He completed the Prussian legal preparatory service and became director of the Berlin-Potsdam Railway . In Berlin he was a member of the city ​​council and was its head from 1885 to 1886. From 1879 to 1886 belonged to the Prussian House of Representatives .

From 1881 to 1884 he was a member of the Reichstag for the constituency of Magdeburg 4 (city of Magdeburg ) and the German Progressive Party .
