Walter Bachmeier

Walter Robert Bachmeier (born March 26, 1957 in Karlsruhe ) is a German author.

Life

From 1963 to 1968 he attended primary school and partial secondary school in Münchsmünster and from 1968 to 1972 the secondary school in Vohburg an der Donau . He completed this with a qualified secondary school diploma.

From 1972 to 1975 he did an apprenticeship as a cook in Mittenwald . During this time he attended the vocational school in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . After completing his professional qualification, he worked in various hotels and restaurants in Ingolstadt and also in the Ingolstadt City Theater . In 1976 he did his military service in Munich and then from 1977 worked in Bavaria in the profession he had learned. From 1983 to around 1992 he worked as an IT administrator in the company of his current wife Ingrid. This was followed in 1992 by training as a lecturer, moderator, course leader and as a lecturer for Microsoft software (Windows / Office) at the VHS Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm. In 1994 he married Ingrid Gabauer, whose name he also adopted. He kept his maiden name Walter Bachmeier as a pseudonym. From 1994 to 1998 he worked as a truck driver, window cleaner and locksmith. In 2001 he trained as a brain trainer at the Society for Brain Training, from 2002 to 2003 as a non-medical practitioner (without a medical examination) and then from 2003 to 2007 he ran an online e-book trade. Since 2012 he has been living on his income as a writer.

Bachmeier is married and has two foster children. Walter Bachmeier died on March 4, 2020.
