Walter Bolze
Walter Bolze (born August 9, 1913 ; † January 1, 2001 in Halberstadt ) was a German architect .
Life
After the end of the Second World War, Bolze led the reconstruction of the Halberstadt Cathedral and the Church of Our Lady, which were badly damaged in air raids . Between 1945 and 1954 he reconstructed the more than 80% destroyed Martini Church .
In addition, he was responsible for the construction work on numerous church buildings in the districts of Magdeburg and Halle .
Honors

- 1997: Cross of Merit on Ribbon of the Federal Republic of Germany
