Walter Breu

Walter Breu (born October 5, 1949 ) is a German Slavist .

Life

After receiving his doctorate in Munich in 1980 , he was a senior academic advisor from 1980 to 1987 . Z. (until 1982 as a substitute) at the Slavic Seminar of the LMU Munich. After his habilitation in 1987, Venia legendi for Slavic Philology and Albanology, at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich , he was professor for applied linguistics and scientific director of the Language Center at the University of Bayreuth from 1987 to 1994 . From 1994 to 2015 he was a university professor for Slavic Studies (linguistics) at the University of Konstanz .
