Walter Durbano

Walter Durbano (born March 31, 1963 ) is a former Italian marathon runner .

In 1990 he finished second in the Turin Marathon , and the following year he won this race in 2:10:03 h, whereby the distance turned out to be about 500 m too short. In 1992 he was sixth in the New York City Marathon , and in 1993 he was the overall winner in Turin, Italy, with his personal best of 2:11:13 h. In the same year he came in 13th place in the IAAF World Cup marathon held as part of the San Sebastián Marathon .

At the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 1994 , he finished 30th. In 1995 he finished second in Turin.
