Walter Enrique Heinze

Walter Enrique Heinze (born April 21, 1943 in Paraná (Entre Ríos) ; † July 30, 2005 ibid) was an Argentine guitarist and composer .

Life

Heinze studied with Graciela Pomponio and Jorge Martínez Zárate and with Abel Carlevaro .

After graduation, from 1961, worked as a concert guitarist with performances in Argentina, but also in other countries and in South America and in 1989 in France. His compositional work mainly includes pieces for guitar, but also some compositions for theater and for a short film.

He also worked as a teacher at the Escuela de Música, Danza y Teatro in Paraná and at the Institut de Música de la Universidad Nacional del Litoral in Santa Fé . He is considered an influential teacher of South American guitar.
