Walter Eschenbach
Walter Eschenbach (* 1883 in Groß Lunau near Kulm ; † 1936 in Königsberg (Prussia) ) was a German organist and church musician .
From 1911 he was cathedral organist and head of the cathedral choir at Königsberg Cathedral . He also taught at the Kühn Conservatory and at the church music school. In 1916 he became the conductor of the Bach Society he founded . He organized many church concerts in the cathedral and in other cities in the province of East Prussia .
On the occasion of the 600th anniversary of the cathedral, he was given the honorary title of church music director in 1933 .
His sister Margarete Eschenbach was a pianist in Königsberg.
