Walter Giesker

Walter Giesker (born August 13, 1901 in Jeggen , district of Osnabrück , † October 27, 1976 in Bissendorf ) was a German politician ( CDU ) and a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

Giesker studied agriculture at the University of Göttingen and then worked as a self-employed farmer. He became a member of the NSDAP on May 1, 1933 (membership number 3,060,882). Since the constitution of the Chamber of Agriculture he was its board member. In 1948 he became a member of the district council of the Osnabrück district . From January 1949 to 1964 he was district administrator for the district of Osnabrück.

From May 6, 1951 to June 5, 1967, he was a member of the Lower Saxony State Parliament (2nd to 5th electoral term). From May 6, 1951 to May 5, 1959 he was a member of the DP / CDU faction.
