Walter Gustav Brenner

Walter Gustav Brenner (* 28. July 1899 in Münchberg , † 8. December 1973 ) was a German engineer for agricultural machinery .

Brenner studied at the Technical University of Munich and the Technical University of Stuttgart . After completing his doctorate and habilitation, he worked in the agricultural machinery industry. From 1949 to 1952 he was director of the newly established institute for agricultural machinery research at the Research Center for Agriculture (predecessor of the Federal Research Center for Agriculture ) in Braunschweig . In June 1955 he accepted a chair for agricultural engineering at the Technical University of Munich in Weihenstephan .

In 1960 he was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Bonn .
