Walter Hainer (born October 3, 1961 ) is a former German football player on the position of a defender .

Among other things, he played three games in the Bundesliga for TSV 1860 Munich .

Life

In his first time at TSV 1860 Munich, Hainer was used three times in the Bundesliga in the 1980/81 season . After only reaching 16th place in the table and the resulting relegation to the 2nd Bundesliga . he played there in the 1981/82 season 24 times for TSV. He later moved to SpVgg Landshut . In the summer of 1989 he returned to the meanwhile third-rate TSV 1860 Munich and was used there in 26 second division games after being promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga right from the start. After the season they were only fourth in the relegation round and missed relegation together with Hallescher FC (5th place) and Rot-Weiß Erfurt (6th place). Walter Hainer moved to SSV Jahn Regensburg in 1992 and ended his career after the 1992/93 season. In total, he played 8 games in the DFB Cup in his career .
